ACT Professional Development Conference

Oklahoma State University’s chapter of Agricultural Communicators of Tomorrow is hosting the 2009 ACT Professional Development Conference Feb. 26 – March 1. The conference will welcome ACT chapters from accross the country and Canada.
This year’s theme “Agricultural Communications: Cowboy Style,” is bringing a new twist to communications in the agricultural industry. Conference participants will have the opportunity to interact industry professionals in photography, public relations, publications and broadcasting. In addition to educational workshops, motivational speaker and past Oklahoma State FFA President, Kelly Barnes will open the conference Thursday evening.
The conference will include a variety of events such as campus and business tours, a hypnotist, intriguing workshops, a professional dinner, and conclude with vespers Sunday morning.
