Assignments/Expectations

1. Students are expected to attend and participate in all classes. A schedule of when the class will meet and the topic to be discussed is attached.
   
2. Degree Requirement Sheet and Plan. For the major option you are pursuing, indicate on the option sheet, courses that you have completed and grades earned; courses in which you are currently enrolled; and what semester you plan to complete the remaining requirements (attach a semester by semester study plan).
   
3. Shadowing Visit and Report. Each student is expected to identify the business/agency/school, request instructor approval (see form), complete the observation/interview at the place of business and write a reflection report using the criteria provided with the assignment in class.
   
4. Final Assessment. A take-home final will be provided. Check the course schedule attached for the date.

Grading
The course grade will be based on total points earned for the following:

Shadowing/Observation report
Degree Requirement Sheet and Plan
Portfolio
Quizzes
Final Assessment
Attendance and participation
Total

Grading scale is as follows: 461-500=A; 421-460=B; 378-418=C; 337-377=D; 336 and less=F.
