Oklahoma Ag in the Classroom

  • 1 1⁄2 cups vegetable oil
  • 1⁄2 tsp. almond extract, vanilla extract or other flavoring
  • 1⁄2 stick beeswax

Beeswax Lip Balm

  1. Place beeswax in a plastic bag and smash it into small pieces with a hammer.
  2. Melt beeswax over low heat.
  3. Add oil and flavoring.
  4. Pour into film canister or other small container with screw-on lid. Cover tightly.
